We knew this was going to be a special day, but we had no
idea what a fabulous experience we were going to have when we planned a
trip to Naples
There is a 10 part geocache in Naples and we waited for
Jim and Barb to be with us before we went to look for it. Nine wild and crazy
creatures make their home in downtown Naples. Each stop required solving a clue
to advance to the next location. The physical cache was located at the final
destination.
Total travel distance is about 3 miles and walking is estimated
to take about 2 hours. However it took us four 72+ year old seniors 5 hours to
complete. We were not slowed by our health or physical conditions. We were just
so enamored with the town and all that we saw and we spent extra time soaking
it in and taking photos.
Homes here are big and beautiful—way out of our price
range and dreams.
There was a wildfire in south Naples that we understand
had been burning for 48 hours and was just 45% contained. It caused an eerie
cloud and glow in the distance.
